2.1b Manual Artist Entry

Alternatively, you can enter your favorite artists manually without connecting any music service. In this case, we only process the artist names you provide.

Important: We only request read-only access for all music services. We cannot modify your playlists, follow artists on your behalf, or make any changes to your music streaming accounts.

  2. Tap your Apple ID > Media & Purchases
  3. Manage Apps with Music Access
  4. Find SoundLocate and toggle off access

Revoking access will immediately prevent us from accessing any new data from your Apple Music account.

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services:

  • Music data: Stored temporarily in session cookies
  • Survey responses: Retained for analytics and service improvement
  • Newsletter subscriptions: Until you unsubscribe
